In 2011, Hustisford Police Department documented a 29% increase in call volume from the previous year.
January 2012
Hustisford Police Department along with several hundred police agencies across the State of Wisconsin participated in the Booze and Belts Traffic Initiative during the month of December. Chief Link has filed the Wise Grant which will enroll HPD into a drawing for a potential $4000.00 technology grant through Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Officers investigate a disorderly conduct complaint in the 100 block of West Griffith. A written warning was issued and the suspect was released.
Officers make a warrant arrest at Rubicon and Wales Street. The adult female was arrested on a valid Hartford PD warrant and was transported for posting bond.
A disorderly conduct complaint is investigated during the toilet bowl parade. Anyone with information about a Hustisford Police Officer being struck in the head with a frozen roll of toilet paper is encouraged to contact any Hustisford Police Officer.
An underage drinking citation is issued at East Tweedy Street location.
Officers investigate an ordinance violation on North Lake Street and issue a municipal citation to a Watertown female for a February 07th court appearance.
Officers make an OWI-first arrest on Ridge Street at West Juneau Street. A 67 year old Iron Ridge male will make a mandatory appearance in Municipal Court on February 07, 2012.
01-04-2012 Officer responds to John Hustis Elementary School for a disruptive student. A Juvenile referral is pending to Dodge County Human Services.
01-05-2012 Officer responds to a 9-1-1 family dispute call at 203 North Lake Street. Two adult females are counselled and warned for their behavior.
01-06-2012 Officer takes a theft of purse report that occurred on New Year's Eve. Case is under investigation.
01-09-2012 Officer is investigating several reports of theft. Case is under investigation with the assistance of several other agencies.
01-10-2012 A search warrant is initiated in the 200 block of North Lake Street. An adult male Hustisford resident was transported to Dodge County Jail and is awaiting charges.
01-12-2012 Officer takes several theft of debit/gift card complaints. Cases are under investigation.
01-12-2012 A Hustisford High School student reports the theft of cash from his wallet in the boy's locker room. Anyone with information please contact Chief Link or Principal Schraufnagel. Case is under investigation.
01-13-2012 Officer investigates suspicious circumstances in the 100 block of West Juneau Street. Residents are urged to call the Police Department if they observe any suspicious activity.
01-20-2012 Many compliance warning letters are mailed for violation of Village Ordinance unclean sidewalks. The Police Department and Department of Public Works urge businesses and residents to make every effort in removing snow and ice from your sidewalk. Your efforts are appreciated and make the Village a safer place to walk, shop and visit!
